Agility And Strength For Everyday Life

When you hear the word agility, do you think only of athletes? Do you think of pro football players hopping in and out of old car tires? Agility translates into our every day movement. Getting in and out of the car or chasing after a child on a playground. We all need to be agile. To challenge your agility, try using Agility dots. These non-slip circles lay firmly on the ground. Trying different patterns, jump from dot to dot. Or use Agility circles. It’s like jumping into a hula-hoop. However you choose to do it, try moving from foot to foot, keeping your balance, jumping on and off a high bench, running and ducking and quickly turning. Have fun! Move around and use many muscle groups at once and you’ll not only gain strength, you’ll gain agility.
