Keeping Kids Healthy With Kids Fitness
The fight against childhood obesity is still a tough battle. Though this very important topic is in the news more frequently and schools are trying to give students healthier choices, childhood obesity rates remain high. A study done by Dr. Arthur Agatston (of South Beach Diet fame) showed that schools that made changes in the school lunches, added more kid’s fitness exercise programs, and offered nutrition-education programs showed students with lower BMI and even better math scores. Unfortunately, Dr. Agatston’s foundation can no longer fund these studies, so once again, schools need to rely on local funding and parent participation to keep kids healthy. As always, getting kids moving and exercising is as important as what they eat. A Vew-Do Mini 101 balance board can be challenging for any kid who is a beginner of balance training. Keep your kids healthy with kids fitness and watch them have fun exercising.
