Do Celebrity Diets Work

Do celebrity diets work for the average non-celebrity person? Chances are, they don’t. Celebrities generally have more money, more time, and a work related reason, to diet and workout on a daily basis. If we all had a personal trainer, a personal chef, and a yoga or Pilates instructor visit our homes every day, we would be working out more, eating balanced low-calorie meals and feeling pretty good about our chances of diet success. So what’s a person to do?

Take the idea of celebrity diets and workouts and treat yourself to a week of personal attention. Choose a week where you can devote an hour every day to you. Planning ahead makes this easy. Sit down and make a list of seven days of workouts. Every day can be different. One day you could power walk for an hour. Next day do some free-weights. Next day work your legs with an exercise band, fitness exercise ball or mini-trampoline. Plan a day for a DVD celebration! Combine a Pilates exercise bands DVD with a BOSU DVD balance workout.

Whatever it is, make it fun and different every day for one week. Plan your meals ahead of time and get a friend or spouse involved. Have kids? Involve them too. You’ll soon find that working out and watching your diet might take a bit of planning and motivation, but it is possible to workout and diet like a celebrity.
